I am a lamer & a newbie, and ran the PHP and MySQL installers on my XP box, but can't connect to any database and don't see any new processes running. Is there someplace I can find documentation for this that is optimized for the newbie lamer? Thanks,
May be a stupid question, but have you specifically started MySQL?
