Thanks everyone for your replies. I did test on the same server. I had .NET installed and tested. Then installed Linux on same box. The box is a p4 1.7 gig with 512 ddr with a 30 gig 7200rpm hdd
Im going to drop to win2k and see the results. I will post results here if anyone cares.
