Robin, There really are a huge amount of resources on the web for this.
The PHP online manual itself is good for reference but for step by step guides you might want something different. I came across a fairly comprehensive guide on developing PHP based databases at: www.keithjbrown.co.uk/vworks/php/ - though I confess I haven't worked my way through it. Personally I like to have something in hard copy to work my way through. There are a wide range of books about PHP - with a number from Wrox that I tend to use a lot - see www.wrox.com. There's one called 'Beginning PHP' that will take you through all you need to get started. Good luck, Michael -----Original Message----- From: Robin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 11 March 2003 08:02 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [PHP] newbie[Scanned] Hello Please could somebody point me in the right direction for learning about PHP?
