[PHP] quote problem

Hey,

Wondering if any of you can help me with a problem

im trying to get something like this into $var  :

<title>blah "blah" blah</title>

How can I do it if its multi lined

Someone suggested
content =  END <<
BLAH BLAHC
BLHAC
END;

but that doesnt seem to work with quotes
