It shouldn't. I have a few sites that use .php files exclusively and
they all show up in search engines at some point. The spiders should
just see plain html returned to them anyhow, since the server is doing
the parsing. Have you checked to make sure you don't have a robots.txt
file that's blocking the spiders' access to the server(s)? That's the
only thing I can think of that may be causing you problems.
