Operating system: Red Hat Linux release 7.2 (NTT/V
PHP version: 4.3.9
PHP Bug Type: Session related
Bug description: Session Corruption of certain vars
Description:
------------
I.m running:
- PHP 4.3.9
- Apache 1.3.33
- Red Hat Linux release 7.2 (NTT/VERIO EWH)
Some session variable values are getting written in the session file as
"spacer". Yet all other variables are getting written correctly! When i
set the session var & print out the $_SESSION array, it is showing the
value of the variable exactly as I set it. i.e. I'm setting SKU to one of
our valid SKU's:
$_SESSION['SKU'] = "iway500c";
print_r($_SESSION);
Array
(
[mycountry] => USA
[mainhost] => localhost
[environment] => local
[SKU] => iway500c
)
but in the session file written in /tmp it gets saved like this:
mycountry|s:3:"USA";mainhost|s:9:"localhost";environment|s:5:"local";SKU|s:6:"spacer";
I can change the name of the var to SKU2 or even my initials(JB), & even
the value to a different sku such as sp2620, but it always gets saved as
spacer, no matter what!!!
Any response would be appreciated?
Regards,
Jeff Brown
