MySQL support is not enabled, try to load php_mysql.dll in
your php.ini and check the output of phpinfo();

Macromedia Dreamweaver 6 and 7 and 7.1 cannot connect to mysql due to a
php 5 error.
Going back to php4 solve the problem.
