Well, I've added new probe inside PHP_FUNCTION(ftp_put) [the right one ;-D] and it seems the problem come from the call of instream = php_stream_fopen(local, mode == FTPTYPE_ASCII ? "rt" : "rb", NULL); around line 890 that returns a NULL pointer.
