Please try using this CVS snapshot:

  http://snaps.php.net/php4-latest.tar.gz

For Windows:

Hello!
Happy new year!

I have next MSSQL procedure:
create procedure test1
as begin

        return 12345
end

and have next test script:
<?
mssql_connect($server,$user,$password);
mssql_select_db($db);
$a=10;
$s=mssql_init("test1");
mssql_bind($s,'RETVAL',&$a,SQLINT4);
mssql_execute($s);
echo $a;
?>

in PHP-4.2.3 I got 12345 as output in $a
in PHP-4.3.0 I got 10 as output in $a

Congratulations, MSSSQL working with Stored procedures is fully broken.
or documentation missmath with 4.3.0?
