need a backtrace to see what is happening behind the scenes. To
find out how to generate a backtrace, please read

Once you have generated a backtrace, please submit it to this bug

If the test script I have supplied is run from the command line in windows, a 
popup window appears with the following message.

'CLI has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the 
inconvenience'

If the test script I have supplied is run from a web browser (Firefox 5.0), a 
similar popup window appears informing that

'Apache HTTP Server has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry 
for the inconvenience'

Test script:

$ldapLinkId  = @ldap_connect(null, null);
$optionValue = null;
ldap_get_option($ldapLinkId, LDAP_OPT_NETWORK_TIMEOUT, $optionValue);

Expected result:
