Dear all, This is a reminder that the pragmatism reading group is running a special event this Friday, 28th of February, at 3.30pm until 5.00pm in Seminar Room 2 in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science.
We will be joined by Cheryl Misak, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Toronto, to discuss excerpts of her new book, Frank Ramsey: A Sheer Excess of Powers. Also joining us will be Huw Price, who has worked extensively on pragmatism and Ramsey. The readings are attached to this email as PDFs. Please send me an email if you don't receive them. The discussion will be focused on the readings attached and will be quite casual. We will head to the pub for a drink after the meeting.
