Dear all,

Mental Sciences has two exciting events happening this week.

On Wednesday February 5th, Erlend Owesen, PhD Student in HPS, will be leading a
discussion titled “The Meta-Problem and Eliminativism about Phenomenal
Consciousness”. This will take place from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the Philosophy
Faculty Board Room.

In addition, there will be an extraordinary meeting on Thursday February 6th,
at 12:00 p.m. when Kent Berridge
<https://lsa.umich.edu/psych/people/faculty/berridge.html>, Professor of
Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Michigan, will be visiting
Richard Holton’s seminar on intention and the will, and so the session will be
open to interested parties. This will also take place in the Philosophy
Faculty Board Room .

We look forward to seeing you at either event,
