Joe Martin will be discussing âFive Ways AI is Not Like the Manhattan Project (and One Way It Is)â and Jonnie Penn will be talking about early contributions to symbolic AI made by Herbert Simon and John McCarthy in light of a brief historiographical survey of AI in the twentieth century. The meeting will take place at the CFI (16 Mill Lane, next door to Makespace Cambridge).
