Philosophers of physics, and Foundationsers(!) of physics,  will be 
interested to go to two LSE events in connection with the Lakatos 2016 
Prize.
The winning books are by:
  Gordon Belot (Geometric Possibility, OUP) and
  David Malament (Topics in the Foundations of General Relativity and 
Newtonian Gravitation Theory, U of Chicago)

The award ceremony (and free drink for all, I believe!) is Thursday 5 May, 
at 6.30 till 8.00.
