There is one additional philosophical event at the Festival of Idea, which I
missed!:

Saturday 24 October: 4:15pm - 5:45pm

What do we owe the universe?

Humans are already making a difference on a planetary scale. If we or our
creations spread to other worlds, our impact may be greater still, by many
orders of magnitude. How should we think about the responsibilities and
opportunities that these futures afford? What do we owe our distant
descendants? The speakers are Martin Rees, Partha Dasgupta, Rae Langton and
Claudia Olsson of the Swedish global Challenges Foundation. Huw Price will
chair.
