The goal of this conference is to bring together philosophers working on various issues in philosophical logic, philosophy of language, and metaphysics that bear on the general topic of verbal disputes. Related issues include naturalness and reference magnetism, quantifier variance, interpretive charity, semantic and social externalism, analyticity, and logical pluralism.
