EX-MUSLIM VOICES: 22 APRIL 2015 AT 715PM, ST JOHN'S COLLEGE

Dear all,

Faith to Faithless is a new UK-wide group that aims to support those
leaving or seeking to leave the Islamic religion. Leaving a religion is
often a difficult decision but both in doctrine and in real life there are
special penalties for those who wish to leave Islam. The UK does not like
some countries attach the death penalty to this form of apostasy, but it
remains true that many Britons who do leave face severe material and
psychological difficulties. For this reason there are also many people who
would like to leave the religion but are afraid to speak out.

Faith to Faithless has so far run two inaugural events in which speakers
describe their paths away from the religion, followed by audience questions
and discussion. These have been covered in the national press: see for
instance:

The third and biggest such event will be in Cambridge at the

DIVINITY SCHOOL, ST JOHN"S COLLEGE at 715PM on WEDNESDAY 22 APRIL

All are welcome (religious or not) but you will need to book online
(tickets are free) and you will need ID to attend. These are available at:

We'll look forward to seeing you there.
