The scientific aim of this conference is skill sharing among experts in
health psychology, medicine, pedagogy, philosophy and sociology. As all
interdisciplinary meetings tend to be very stimulating, we expect the event
to provide the following outcomes.

The conference schedule will involve keynote lectures with the participation
of foreign guests, thematic and poster sessions as well as workshops.
Selected papers will be subsequently published by the Jagiellonian
University Press in a reviewed monograph.


Keynote speakers:


- Prof. Christopher Gill (University of Exeter)

- Prof. Marios Pourkos (University of Crete)

- Prof. Wladyslawa Pilecka (Jagiellonian University)


The subject areas suggested:

- Resilience as a health predictor

- Health and mental resilience in children and adolescents

- Health as seen from the existential perspective

- The relationship between coping with stress and health

- Contemporary threats to mental health

- Deficiencies in health

- The change of the attitude towards looking for help: pharmacotherapy and
resources' regeneration

- Prevention and health promotion


The submissions to paper and poster sessions as well as workshop proposals
are very welcomed.

ORAL PRESENTATION - 15 min of presentation + 5 min of discussion. Abstract
must be no more than 250 words long. A submission should include the title
and abstract of the talk, along with names and affiliations of the speakers.

POSTER - The poster size should be A1 or A0 format. Abstract must be no more
than 250 words long.

ALL THE ABSTRACTS should adhere to the APA standards and be submitted by
