Dear all, Please join us today for the CamPoS (Cambridge Philosophy of Science) seminar
Wednesday 26th February 1-2:30pm in HPS Seminar Room 2 Leon Horsten (Bristol) will give a talk entitled "Infinitesimal probabilities". The abstract is below. Best wishes, Christopher Abstract: I present and discuss a theory of probability that admits infinitesimal probability values. In the light of this theory, I evaluate objections from the philosophical literature that purport to show that on conceptual grounds that appeal to infinitesimal probability values is inherently problematic. -- Department of History and Philosophy of Science, University of Cambridge Personal Website: www.chrisclarke.eu <http://www.chrisclarke.eu/index.html> Project Website: www.humannature.hps.cam.ac.uk
