Hi Everyone,

This is just a reminder that the first meeting of the reading group on
Truth will be *tomorrow (Tuesday the 15th) at 1.30pm in the Graduate
Common Room*.

We will be discussing Matthew McGrath's 2003 paper `What the
Deflationist May Say About Truthmaking' Philosophy and Phenomenological
Research 66: 666-68.

And you can find it online here:

The rest of the schedule is as follows:

Oct. 29) T. Crane, "The nature of existence and non-existence" from his
new book The Objects of Thought
Nov. 5) H. Price, "Three Norms of Assertibility, or How the MOA Became
Extinct"
Nov. 12) P. Horwich, "A Defence of Minimalism"
Nov. 19) J. Hornsby, "Truth: The Identity Theory"
Nov. 26) J. Dodd, "Facts are True Thoughts" from his book An Identity

The Group is open to all: undergraduates, graduate students, and Faculty

Best,
Dan
