add to your list also Bitbucket. I am not so sure if Dale also supports
mecurial apart from git but in that case I dont think there is anything
similar to gitfiletree for pharo.

I have been using Github for my Pharo projects for over a year now and I
add my projects also in Configuration Browser (I have three projects
currently , Ephestos, Nireas and MorphicDoc) and I have had zero issues so
far.
