No.

This is a Linux box with kernel 2.4.22 (x86). I also noticed that the
background writer process does have almost same signal handling but it
is not killed.

TIP 2: you can get off all lists at once with the unregister command
(send "unregister YourEmailAddressHere" to [EMAIL PROTECTED])
