[ a couple git clean, git reset, make clean, etc. commands later... ] Yeah, well, it works now. What's more, the problems I had with make check the first time I tried this are no longer. I've done all the looking I can think to do at the patch in its existing form, and don't have any complaints. I realize, though, that there are open questions about how this should work with, given the GRANT ON ALL patch. I'm not sure I have comments in that regard, but I'll try to come up with some, or at least to convince myself I don't have any for a better reason than just that I wouldn't know what I was talking about.
