One day i found these in my logs, and the vacuum process hung, effectively locking everybody out of some tables... Version 7.1.2 VACUUM ANALYZE NOTICE: RegisterSharedInvalid: SI buffer overflow NOTICE: InvalidateSharedInvalid: cache state reset It was sleeping in semop().
