Hello, My previous mail about VACUUM deadlock was silently ignored... Now I have much more interesting trouble... Just a minutes ago I found out that my usual routine which recreate indices is hanged... I see the picture like this: 10907 ? SW 0:01 /home/postgres/bin/postgres 127.0.0.1 webmailstation webmailstation DROP waiting And lots of other backends are also have waiting... The system is quite heavily loaded. I have > 200.000 queries per day. There are lot's of inserts and updates, mostly updates. PostgreSQL 7.0.3pre. Linux 2.2.16 Any comments?
