I think you can get what you want by with auto_explain. https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/auto-explain.html You can set: auto_explain.log_analyze And then the "width" and "rows" are logged: Result (cost=0.00..0.01 rows=1 width=4) (actual time=0.002..0.004 rows=1 loops=1) PS, you should first ask on the pgsql-general list, rather than this development list. -- Justin
