I don't think we need to be telling users of obsolete AIX versions how to run their systems. The comp.ai.genetic FAQ link might be more of a loss, but on the other hand I'd be willing to bet it wasn't very up to date anymore. Netnews has been moribund for a long time :-( regards, tom lane
