initdb and pg_basebackup can use atexit() to register cleanup actions
instead of requiring the use of custom exit_nicely() etc.  Patches attached.

Subject: [PATCH 1/2] pg_basebackup: Use atexit()

Instead of using our custom disconnect_and_exit(), just register the
desired cleanup using atexit() and use the standard exit() to leave
the program.
