Those patches look good to me. Let's get them in early in the PG20 cycle. It might be nice to still add pg_expr_has_type_p, and just make it error hard in C++ for now. Because I'll want to use that macro in another patchset. But I'd also be fine with creating that macro at the same time as the C++ version.
