While I do not immediately see how, and the affected versions don't really point that way, the timing does make me think of http://git.postgresql.org/gitweb/?p=postgresql.git;a=commit;h=a54e1f1587793b5bf926630ec9ce142e4578d7a0 HEAD/REL_11_STABLE apparently solely being affected points elsewhere, but I don't immediatley know where.
