I'm using PG 8.0.x on Windows XP Pro and a dialog
popped up with "Postgres: unknown hard error". After
acknowledging it, the system became somewhat
unresponsive and needed a reboot. There was nothing in
event viewer (I guess PG logs there - it's configured
to log to 'stderr'). Any way to further diagnose this?
