Hi, I'm installing 8.0.2 on Mandrake and I saw binarys rpms only for RH. Can someone tell me if is better install a rpm version or compile from source in this case?

the rpm should work fine, even though it's rh.
if not, rpmdrake ( urpmi ) will remove 8.0.2 so building from sources with clean system will be possible.
