Hmm, what files *do* you have in that directory?
There seems to be a discrepancy in paths:

configure_args=' '\''--prefix=/Users/berald01'\''
So is there something mapping /Users/berald01 to /data/sblab-home/ ?
It might be worth cd'ing into the src/pl/plpython subdirectory and
manually doing "make install" there to see what it prints.
