When looking for a global variable, a command like that is generally useful:
$ git grep MyDatabaseId -- *.h
src/include/access/xact.h:      Oid                     dbId;
         /* MyDatabaseId */
src/include/miscadmin.h:extern PGDLLIMPORT Oid MyDatabaseId;
