There is a tutorial directory but it has a README that I need to type 'make' to view the files. Well, make wasn't available so I installed 'make' with apt-get. Then I was met with an error apparently from the Makefile that pg_conf: command not found. I seem to be getting farther and farther from the original question, that of role "postgres" does not exist.
