Works here on a Linux machine. Maybe the gzip code is not installed in your Windows install? By the way as concerns the -i option, from the docs: http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.1/interactive/app-pgdump.html -i --ignore-version A deprecated option that is now ignored.
