Not in regards to logging detail, but that function in general... I'm pretty new to postgres, so I could be totally wrong in this, but I think this thread http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-performance/2008-03/msg00204.php may pertain if you see some performance degradation with that trigger. Like I said, somebody correct me if I'm way off base. Chris
