Thanks, that looks interesting. Even if it doesn't work out for
porting, I will have to play with it. ;)

BTW, I ported a few of the tables and one of the queries. The timing
difference is quite amazing:

FrontBase:  13 seconds
Postgresql: 42 msec

There's a lot of incentive to do the port ;)
