Also, it seems fairly unusual for anyone to build a production installation with absolutely no configuration options --- it'd work, but you'd get a really plain-vanilla server. You might consider reviewing https://www.postgresql.org/docs/10/install-procedure.html to see what other things might make sense to turn on. regards, tom lane
