btw, just managed to use the following sql:

select * from orders where info @> '{"recs": [{ "customer":"John Doe"}]}' 

(changed my json string to info -> { "recs: [ { "customer" : "John Doe" } ] }

And this seems to work but is this the "wrong" way of doing it or?
