PostgreSQL is a database server. If you don't know what it is, it's highly likely it was installed by another program that you do use. Do not uninstall it unless you know for sure that you do not use it. As for the space taken up, that's just weird. Do you have any database programs, accounting, logging, image management, photo management, music management, etc programs on your computer? If in doubt, open the Services control panel, and stop the PostgreSQL service. Then see what programs stop working. Please DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL.
