Then again, I never did have a very high opinion of big name SAN vendor hardware - I have always achieved better results at a fraction of the cost with appliances I've built myself.
yeah, its so easy to slap together 1000 spindle half petabyte storage arrays with 5-nines reliability and 500K random write IO/sec, and hot swap on all components. ok, I'm being facetious.
