Hello, i would be very much appreciate if you please let me know that why the below mention error occured and how can be resolved while i try to install postgresql 8.0.1 in 32bit Linux server.? checking for shmget in -lcygipc... no checking for readline... no configure: error: readline library not found If you have readline already installed, see config.log for details on the failure. It is possible the compiler isn't looking in the proper directory. Use --without-readline to disable readline support.
