The table contains ~10 million rows:

And the server is running:

 PostgreSQL 8.0.0 on i386-portbld-freebsd4.10, compiled by GCC 2.95.4

I haven't had a chance to upgrade it to 8.0.3 yet ... didn't realize we had any limits on stuff like this ... bug, or really a limit?
