This is most likely the host based firewall preventing connections. You will
need to either disable it, or specifically enable postgresql to listen and
communicate on tcp port 5432 (unless you changed the port, of course).

TIP 2: you can get off all lists at once with the unregister command
(send "unregister YourEmailAddressHere" to [EMAIL PROTECTED])
