I am using FAQ_CYGWIN.txt but when I follow all instructions precisely, and perform the database initialisation as follows: initdb -D /usr/local/pgsql/data -W -E LATIN1 the result is "initdb: failed". So first of all, is all documentation still up to date? Second of all, is there a workaround or some other solution for this problem? Third of all, "initdb:failed" is the kind of error that is too general.
