[BUGS] postgresql 8 (pgAdminIII) crashes when login form X is clicked

I installed version 8 software using msi pack and created postgres user and one other. On opening pgAdmin login form – couldn’t overtype User-name postgres and clicked form close icon (Red X). MsgBox said “An error has occurred. Couldn’t create a connection dialogue!” Clicked OK and Windows showed message “PostgreSQL tools has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience” etc….   This message repeated once more when clicked, the pgAdmin then closed.
