Details: 

Entering CTRL+ALT+\ (backslash) causes psql to dump core:

magog# psql -U pgsql template1

Compiled with gcc version 3.3.3 [FreeBSD] 20031106 using "-O -ftracer 
-fprefetch-loop-arrays -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe".
