I get many failures in the makefile in postgresql-7.3/src/backend/utils/mb/conversion_procs/* Each is the same. When I re-type the gcc command by hand with the option switches
re-orderd it works and the *.so library gets built

Here is what I'm running

>uname -a
SunOS wi792 5.8 Generic_108529-17 i86pc i386 i86pc
>gcc --version
3.0.2

Here is the last of make's output ending with the error. This is followed by what I had to type in. If you type "gcc --help" you will
see that "infile" should be last but still that does not explain it.
