This seems like a clear bug --- but given the lack of similar reports
from other users of Linuxen and Alphas, I'm not entirely convinced it's
Postgres' bug. Possibly a compiler or library bug on your platform?
Anyway, it will require digging on your platform to try to narrow down
the cause. Could you either dig into it, or offer access to your
machine for someone else to look at it?

These look like the usual low-order-digit variations in geometry output;
nothing to be concerned about here.
